Ikoni Studio is a mobile game developer based in Washington, D.C. We were founded in 2019 in Los Angeles, CA under the moniker LFTW Games. In 2021 we officially rebranded as Ikoni Studio. We are proud to be 100% African-American funded, owned and operated.
We are also unique among our peers in that we develop all of our games in-house. We do not contract our game development to developers in India, China or other foreign nations. All of our games are developed in the USA by African-American talent. We also extensively utilize the Black talent for artwork, voice over, video production, etc. This level of focus on utilizing Black talent and expertise makes Ikoni Studio truly one of a kind.
Our Mission
We strive to become the leading worldwide publisher of fun, engaging, high quality mobile games which prominently feature Black characters. Our games celebrate the beauty and diversity of African, African-American and Caribbean cultures, history and traditions. We are devoted to positive representation of Black people. Players will always see themselves and their community reflected in a positive light, each game offering them a safe respite from the world and most importantly the opportunity to have some fun.
