While playing Soulitaire a variety of mini games are offered to players. These mini games are a way to boost your score (to reach new high score thresholds) and at times required to meet Daily Goals. Players can always elect to skip mini games and continue normal Soulitaire play.
There are 3 mini games offered: The King’s Order, the Queen’s Match and the daily Royal Challenge. Points won are cumulative, so winning multiple mini games is excellent way for a player to significantly increase their score!
The King’s Order mini game presents the player with 3 cards which are immediately randomly shuffled. After the shuffle is complete the 3 cards are flipped over and 3 identical cards are presented below.
The player must remember the order of the shuffle cards and replicate that order with the 3 new lower cards. Once the player has finished arranging the lower cards the top cards are flipped over to check for matches.
If all the cards match the player is awarded the bonus points.
The Queen’s Match mini game presents the player with 6 cards which are all face down. Within the 6 cards there are three two-card matches (2 Aces, 2 Kings and 2 Sevens).
Next, three, two or a single card is randomly selected to be flipped over for the player to quickly observe. Then the overturned card(s) are flipped back over face down. The player must then tap to select the card and make matches.
If the player is able to match all 6 cards (make 3 matches) then the bonus points are awarded.
Soulitaire offers a daily “Royal Challenge” where a player can earn bonus points upon winning. The bonus points will be applied to all the games won that day.
During the Royal Challenge the top timer ticks down to zero. To win the bonus points the player must move all the cards to their foundations before time runs out.
